Frequently Asked Questions

Clothing Assistance FAQs

There are no income restrictions or qualifications for receiving clothing assistance. Our program operates at no cost to our clients. Although everyone loves the idea of free clothing, we ask that only families who truly need help request clothing assistance, that way we are able to continue serving families with the greatest need!

Important things to note:

  • We provide clothing to children only - ages Newborn to 18.
  • We ask that families be able to pick up their clothing from our facility in Batavia Ohio.

You can request clothing assistance by filling out our online form. The form will ask you to indicate your child's clothing and shoe size. After filling out a request, our packers will create a clothing pack based on your child's size and preferences. Once your clothing is ready, you can pick up the pack(s) from our facility.

This year we've partnered with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati to provide free deliveries to clients through DoorDash. To be eligible for these deliveries you must reside within 10 miles (as the crow flies) of our facility. We will let you know if you qualify when your packs are complete.

Unfortunately, we only serve children ages Newborn through 18 (or up until high school graduation).

A clothing pack provides a “school week’s” worth of clothing so children do not have to re-wear clothing in the same week. Each clothing pack comes with 5 outfits, 5 new pairs of underwear, 3-5 pairs of new socks, a pair of shoes, pajamas and a jacket. You can opt out of receiving certain items if your do not need them.

Please note any style preferences or special considerations in the Additional Information section of the request form and we will do our best to accommodate your child's wishes!

General Operations FAQs

Currently we require that our clients pick up from our facility. Because of this, we serve mostly children and teens within Clermont County. As long as a someone can pick up their items from our location, we do not turn them away.

  • We work with local schools, churches, child service agencies, and other nonprofit organizations to identify the children and teens that need us the most.
  • By word of mouth or through the use of social media, clients often refer friends to us once they have used our service.

  • Individual Donors - Accounted for roughly 97% of our funding from last year!
  • Grants - Although we have received very few grants in the past, we plan on increasing funding from grants this year!
  • Businesses and Other Nonprofits - We had a few local businesses and other nonprofits support us this past year. This year our goal is to increase the awareness of our service in our community and to get more business/corporate support!
  • County Partnership - This year we secured a partnership with Clermont County JFS that allows us to receive TANF funding for clothing distributed to Clermont County residents. This partnership will allow us to increase our scale of operations and serve more children than we could have ever anticipated!
